MacKenzie, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Mackenzie was born in Idaho and raised in a small town on the Oregon Coast. Mackenzie became
interested in dental hygiene during her senior year of high school. She moved to the Portland area in
2012 to pursue a career in dental hygiene. After getting her associates degree and taking pre-requisites
for dental hygiene at Portland Community College, she was accepted into Pacific University’s Dental
hygiene program. During her time at Pacific University she developed a strong interest for Periodontics.
She is passionate about helping patients achieve their oral health goals and improve their overall health
and well-being. Mackenzie strives to bring exceptional dental hygiene care to all patients that sit in her
chair and looks forward to brightening smiles every day.
In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her husband and dog Havoc. She enjoys being
outdoors as much as possible doing activities like camping, hiking, playing sports such as volleyball,
basketball, and softball. During the rainy season she enjoys watching movies, Blazer games, and cooking.

RACHEL Surgical Assistant

Rachel is an Oregonian who was raised in Banks and Gaston, OR. She found her love for dentistry at age 18. With a 14 year background as an endodontic assistant she brings extensive experience with helping patients dealing with acute pain and dental infections. She is excited to take her experience to the next level and utilize her assistant skills in periodontics.
She is very caring and loves to interact with patients and help them feel at ease while in the dental chair.
When Rachel isn’t working she loves to adventure in the PNW, whether hiking into waterfalls or backpacking into the mountains. Her and her husband enjoy camping, kayaking, 4 wheeling and playing with their 3 dogs.
Jess
Surgical Assistant
Jess has called Hillsboro home for the last 25 years and been serving the dental community for 16 of those years. With a background in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Jess joined our periodontal world of surgery and work closer to home.
One of the most rewarding dental experiences for Jess was a being a part in a surgical team volunteering their skills to help children with facial abnormalities and or cleft lips and palates in Guatemala.
When Jess is not at work she enjoys to stay active in her free time where she can be found hiking or backpacking, spending time with friends and family, playing with her dogs, baking and crocheting.
